A coathanger with boxes

The last day of my holiday I spend making a coathanger. It´s going to be placed in the beach-hotel.

Back from vacation.

It´s been a long time since you have heard from me but I was on vacation. I spend two (short) weeks in France. I´ve seen a lot of castles, gardens and museums. I love France.......

But now I´m back and I will show you my treasures that I bought overthere.

The statue is a statue of Ra. In France there are a lot of series that you can collect and this was one of them.....it is a new serie so the first episode was a bargain.

And then the paint.....I love the French colours. So I couldn´t resist these two acrylic paints. Fleur de rose (pinkish) and Azur. (bleu-ish)

The chair I have bought in Chenonceau. My most favorite castle. It´s a little oversized but if I make the rest also 1:10, no one will notice.

I´ve also been very busy with a tiny quilt.

It´s going to be a bedspread for my christmashouse.

Shoes

Klara and I have been making shoes today. Klara already made a lot of shoes but it was my first time and it was really fun to do. I tried them on one of my dolls and guess what....they fit. She is very happy with her new shoes and can´t wait to try them on.

Also tried to make boots but that didn´t work out that well. The fabric I used is not easy to glue. And I don´t like the model so I will not show that to you. LOL

A shell thing

I love the nautical theme. Made a shell pendant today.

And finished my chair, made from a champaincorkholder. (you know....the metal that keeps the cork in place)

I´ve decided to put all the sea-themed things in my "hotel".

There´s a hole in the bucket.....

Today Klara came over to have some fun with paper. We made a bucket and a teakettle. It was so much fun to make this. The bucket was very easy.....the teakettle a bit more difficult but we managed. The left one are mine.

I started to embroider this carpet a 3 or 4 years ago and now it is finally finished. (if you look closely you can see a coulourdifference, that is the result of waiting to long to finish it  lol) 

 I didn´t have enough green to do the last 8 stitched but it is not that visible. I´m glad it is finished. It measures 12x8 cm

I´m going to put it in little Bears house.

Walk-in-closet

After all of the skeletonscenes I decided to work on little Bear´s house again. It´s been I while since I´ve worked on that and little Bear asked me to start with the house again. I made a "walk in closet" in the kitchen. It still needs some shelfs but I´m working on that. I made the hinges of aluminium foil. You know.....from a tealightholder.  (don´t know if that is proper English lol) And this is the result of a days work.

Bathing cap for Agathe

Agathe didn´t want to get her hair wet so she wanted a bathingcap. I told her to wait until I was a little bit further with the bathroom but she said she had no time to wait. Pfff....(why can´t a skeleton wait??? )

But to avoid further comment from her side, I made her one. The rollerblind is finished too. Now she can sit in the bathtub without being watched by prying eyes. ;-)

The bathingcap is made from a plastic shoppingbag.

Bathroom update

I´ve decided to use the smooth side of the door because I want to hang something on it. My skeletondoll has got a name and that is: Agathe Bonemountain. I gave her some hair but I´m not quite satisfied. Because of the shower I had to put her hand somewhere else so now her hand is resting on the watertap. I also have made the windows. You still can see the glue  :-)  I´m working on a rollerblind.

Bathroom in progress

In my previous log I mentioned that I would make a whole scene around the skeleton in the bathtub. And so I did. My boyfriend made a nice corner to put the scene in. The paint I used is from "Paintings of the past".

Soft and nice coulours.

I´m a little struggling with the door. Wich side shall I put on the bathroomside??

The floor is a piece of wallpaper.

How long does it take......

....to take a bath.

Some time ago I bought some skeletons. I didn´t know where to use them for but when I found a bathtub, I  had made a long time ago, I knew what to do with it. It was a very stiff skeleton. I cut thru the bones and made a new connection so she could lay relaxed in the bathtub.

What is she thinking about????

I think I´m going to make a whole scene about this one.

Flowers and more...

Today I had the day off. Time to tinker. What shall I make...... I know, I make a watercan with roses. Black roses this time.

 I also have made an Ouija board. I have made one before but I gave that one to a friend. For her witcheshouse.

Fishing rod

A while ago I have made a fishing rod with a fishnet and a basket for the bait. Harrison wanted to try it out but we have no water in our garden so he had to try it on the grass. Well...Harrison didn´t really care. But Lara, however, thought he´d gone out of his mind. LOL
